Amazon is Releasing an AI Chatbot this Fall

In an effort to surpass ChatGPT, Amazon is currently developing its own AI chatbot. Dubbed “Metis,” the platform will be able to answer questions, source images, and assist with inquiries in a conversational manner, similar to other popular chatbots like Microsoft’s Copilot , Claude , Jasper , Perplexity.ai , and of course, ChatGPT. Amazon already has Titan and Q , a corporate chatbot; but both models have not been able to maintain a competitive advantage in the chatbot space. Metis is being developed to function as an “AI Agent” for users, helping them do everything from book flights to operate home security systems. Sources close to the project have confirmed to Business Insider that Metis is likely to drop this September. Get more data here.
